Perhaps Love

추석휴일이 계속되는 화요일 저녁, 저녁식사를 마치고 라디오를 켜니 노래 한 곡이 흘러나온다. “Perhaps Love“이다. 대학생이 되어 정말 많이 들었던 노래이다. 당시에는 다방(지금으로 보자면 카페)에 가서 이 노래를 주로 신청했다. 따라서 갈 때마다 이 노래를 신청하니, 뮤직박스 속의 DJ가 내가 다방에 들어서면 이 노래를 틀어주기까지 했다.

오랜만에 이 노래를 들으니 36년 전의 시절로 잠시 돌아간다. 까마득한 옛날의 이야기가 되어 버렸지만, 참으로 많이 들었던 노래이다. 지나간 세월에 대한 아쉬움도 그리움도 솔직히 없다. 내게 중요한 것은 앞으로 내게 주어진 시간들이다. 그렇지만 옛노래를 들으며 그런 생각을 해보는 저녁 시간이다.
